General-purpose polystyrene (GPPS) is a material produced by the polymerization of styrene monomer. It is transparent and crystal-like in appearance and is manufactured using the suspension process. Due to its easy processability, it is widely used in various industrial applications such as food packaging, refrigeration systems, audio and video equipment, consumer electronics, office equipment, medical devices, and toys.
